dose anyone know when tickets go on sale at all?

Or sign up for the mailing list. i got a e-mail at Christmas time lettign me know about the "Christmas sale" tickets being available and that's when we got ours.

Does anyone know when the festival club tickets go on sale or are they only available once you get to Stornaway?

Soooo jealous!!!! i want to go, but my 'lovely' kids have decided we are going surfing in cornwall this year

Think it's a case of pre-booking and picking up your wristband from the festival office in Stornoway (a stones throw from the venue).
Tickets on sale in spring is all they're giving away at the moment!

Heard from a wee Lewis mole today , that the Festival team have a new website up and running on Thursday this week. This shall have the ticket details etc. No early bird tickets this year apparently .

well I am another person caught up with Rod Stewart in Edinburgh castle mid-week and will have to work the weekend shift and so cant make it across the Minch!
If only I had known in December!

We are hopefully going to make it to stornoway for the festival and our first ever runrig gig. that is, provided we get tickets (for the gig and for the flight over). Very exited as it will be our first time in Scotland and seeing runrig.

does anyone know how quickly tickets usually sell on the morning they go on sale? i know over here people will go crazy and tickets will sell out very quickly, was wondering if is the same over there. with the time difference we may have to get up 5-6am to go online right when they go on sale (small sacrifice! ). we have booked a place on the island so we will have somewhere to stay!

we are going to be spending a few days around aberdeen, loch ness, the island and skye so if anyone has any suggestions as must see/do please let me know!

Previous experience, plus the buzz that's already surrounding the gig here on the island, tells me that the tickets will sell very quickly indeed, so get in there fast!

I am going! Can´t really believe it. Good friends organized the accomodation for me. Hurra!

Was sorry when Steffi told me you weren't able to make the gig man. On the other hand it's finally a chance to educate her on why we talked about Runrig for three hours solid on Bonfire night .

Exactly, do me proud and let her see what Runrig live is all about That was a fun night, the look on my face when I discovered another Runrig fan as die-hard as me was probably priceless.
